Wednesday 11/1 5pm Dr. Mok will teach a review of the last lecture in room 239.Collaboration on the Matlab related assignments is encouraged for small groups (2-3). Please list all your collaborators on your solutions.
Course Information:
- This year we will focus on applications related to interference
- Professor: Fai Mok.
- Schedule: Tues, Thur, 10:30-11:55 AM.

- Office Hours:Jim: Monday and Wednesday 5pm in Moore 238.
- Textbook: Introduction to Fourier Optics 3rd Edition, by Joseph W. Goodman, is highly recomended but not required.
- Homework: Homework will be assigned weekly (for the first six weeks) on Thursday, and due by the begining of class on the following Thursday. Late homeworks will be accepted up to the following Monday at midnight, with a 25% penalty for lateness.
- Collaboration Policy: Discussion between students is encouraged, but you must write your own solutions independently.
- Presentations: The last three weeks of the course will be devoted to student presentations on selected research topics.
- Grading: Grades will be 60% on the weekly homework assignments and 40% on the presentations. There will be no final exam.
